“ Absolutely amazing place and wonderful atmosphere. We went in the evening after visiting the beach, kid friendly atmosphere, always playing good hawaiian music and then even had a live performer. The food was absolutely delicious, honestly in the top 2 restaurants we visited on the island. They had gluten free options and made my sister the best gluten free pizza we've ever tasted. The shrimp and fish tacos were the best, and the Opakapaka was delicious. Highly recommend. Also has a great ocean front view and we got to watch the ocean and see a rainbow. ”

“ This is a bar and grill style restaurant serving the local hotel nearby. It is right on the beach and worth a stop if you are heading to Tunnels beach. Great place to grab a beer or food. Sit out side and enjoy the ocean surf. The folks there are super nice and easy to talk with. Check out the adjacent gift shop for cool paraphernalia and fresh brewed coffee and some home made bakery (in the refrigerator). This place has a cool old world Hawai’i vibe. Feels like a place where surfers would once have roamed. Minimalist decor and a old world tile floor make it perfect for people needing a rest bit from the beach. Check it out. ”

“ Met the owner when walking in, greeted us and made sure we got the best table. We had a beautiful waterfront view (that’s the beach picture), even though it was rainy when we went, there was a little outside area that was so pretty. We had a bit of a wait due to a high volume of takeout orders, but the they were so friendly and apologetic. When the food did come, the fish tacos were AMAZING! Knocked it out of the park, definitely recommend. The grilled fish sandwich was fresh, but a little dry (at least for our tastes). Big chocolate fans would love the banana lumpia! Overall, Cool vibe, live music, good food. We will try to come back on a Thursday for open mike night! The owner said great local talents come out and it’s a good time! Check this place out if you’re coming from Tunnels beach!! ”

The service was amazing and the owner was so so nice. The view was even nicer. It was so worth the drive, we cannot wait to be back to this place! ”

“ What a wonderful little restaurant! If you’re on the North Shore, skip the places along the highway and support this cute little beachfront restaurant. They’ve got a great happy hour with half off wine and beer some of the best fish and chips we had on the island. The owner is a great guy and makes rounds to all of the tables. Not to mention it’s super conveniently located to some of the coolest beaches outside of the state park. ”

“ I was driving to the Westin after picking up my friend at the airport in Lihue on December 24, 2024, but we missed it and ended up at this place. Decided to check it out and didn't regret it! We saw they had a Christmas dinner at 6pm and Happy Hour at 5pm, but we were there around 3pm and since there were not many people, the "boss" told us to order anything from the menu and he would give us 50% off! Great business decision, since we went back the next day for the poke nachos which were delicious with a light beer. The place is also right in front of the beach! Highly recommend going there, although we didn't venture out for the Kareoke at 8pm on Saturday, since there were a few one way bridges to cross .... ”
